Fitzhugh Foundation Inc. Akron Literacy Project
The Fitzhugh Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the education, inspiration and empowerment of underserved youth and communities throughout America. Projects include but are not limited to childhood literacy, drug and alcohol prevention and cessation education, the law enforcement and urban youth leadership summit and more. This fall every fourth grade student in Akron Public Schools will receive a copy of Book 1 of "The Adventures of Lil' Stevie", a three volume series of true stories of Steve Fitzhugh's childhood life growing up in Akron. Your tax deductible donation will sponsor this promotion to 1600 students in the same school system that taught Steve Fitzhugh, a best-selling author, to read and write. Students LOVE Lil' Stevie!
