Ultimate PowerMove

At PowerMoves we say that we use the power of arts, academics and athletics to move students into success and significance. We all know about success. Although there are different measurements for success, we'd all agree that to reach your goals in life would probably mean that you are successful. But what is significance? Sure I've accomplished some goals in my life. I wanted to go to the state track finals in High School and I did, two years in a row. I wanted to go to college on a football scholarship, and I did. I wanted to play in the NFL, and I did. Some may call me successful but success is so empty without significance. What is significance? Significance has to do with your life and what is truly important or of great value. Significance for me is learning how to live a life that makes a difference in this world. Significance for me is the hope that there is someone out there who would say that they are a little better off because they met me. I hope to be able to say the world is a better place because I've lived. That is significance. What is the key to significance? You cannot understand your true purpose in life until you've made what I call, "The Ultimate PowerMove." The ultimate powermove is so simple it's easy to miss. You must understand just a few facts:

1. There really is a God and this God is a good God.
2. God wants a real relationship with you and I, His creation.
3. Because man sinned or disobeyed God, sin has entered the world.
4. Sin leads to death.
5. God sent His son, Jesus into the world to take on our faults.
6. He paid the price for our sins by carrying them all to a cross to die.
7. After he gave up his life God raised him from the grave so we all can conquer death.
8. If you accept God's plan you discover not only success in life but significance!

The Ultimate PowerMove is when you choose to tap into the Power of Eternal life by accepting the King, Jesus, into your heart to teach you purpose, destiny and significance.
